My dinosaur was accused of eating the neighbor's apple pie,

But, my dinosaur is a carnivore, and eating fruit ain't fly,

Now my dino sits in jail,

I got no money for his bail,

I hope they feed him lots of pigs, without pig meat he will cry.

THE DIRE WOLF AND HIS TROLL

I have a dire wolf, and he bit off my long nose,

It's a good thing I'm a troll, for now a new one grows,

The dire wolf grew whimper, sad,

When I said he had done real bad,

But, while I was sleeping, the wolf nibbled off my toes.

I TRAVELED TO THE PARTS UNKNON

I journeyed deep into the swamp to the parts unknown,

I found food for dinner, for there was plenty of bone,

But what walks upright there?

A prehistoric bear,

It grabbed me and licked me, like I was an ice cream cone.

I had a big pet dinosaur, and he loved my homemade scones,

He would eat them by the thousands, and made loud lip smacking tones,

One day when he went outside to play,

I burned the scones, and threw them away,

My unhappy, hungry dino, then chewed on the neighbor's bones.

SPLICE ME SOME GENES

I played with genes; I'd splice and I'd splex

Until I created a rhinosaurus rex,

It had sharp teeth and big horn,

It kissed cows and grazed corn,

It has behavior perplexing and complex.
