GREEN THING FROM SPACE WITH TEETH

I came across a green thing that fell from outer space,

It had a small portuberance, but no visible face,

Then down at it's south

It opened a mouth,

It sucked me in, chewed me up at a whirlwind pace.

I think that I'd better hide,

There are space aliens glowing outside,

I've got nothing to fear,

Unless, I think life dear,

But, I'm a coward and in that I take pride.

THURMOND'S TELESCOPE IS FOR THE BIRDS

Thurmond's telescope made the news one day,

When Thurmond saw spacecrafts heading our way,

After networks broadcast his words,

The spacecrafts turned out to be birds,

There was a crow, a dove and blue jay.

I went to the Care Home to bring Grandad his bong,👴

He insisted I stay and play a few games of Pong,📺

Gramps was a champ at that game,🏆

Got a trophy, methinks "lame,"🙄

You'd think he'd move on to Space Invaders or Kong.👽🐵
