WINTER SLEEP OR FINAL SLEEP

We blogged about the winter, and we blogged about the deep snow,

We blogged about the sunny places, we can't afford to go,

It is now time for the winter creep,

We just sit, and freeze and take a weep,

We'll soon freeze, pass out, and wake up in the spring? I Do not know.

MY LIFE WAS RUINED BY A WITCH

Back when I was just a simple, lounging, otter,

Life was great, eating fish, and swimming water,

Then along comes this witch,

And, her nose goes twitch, twitch,

Now I work long, hot, hard days, as a potter.

HEATWAVE

It is so very, very hot,

Steamy, is the texture of snot,

And, goodness knows,

The heatwave grows,

Water's gone, and the food is rot.

THE LITTLE SUMMER BOY

I hate all the winter, it comes with a terrible steep cost,

All it does is blow and snow, and covers eyeballs with the frost,

The cold aches down in my bones,

And, I lose my suntan tones,

By the time old winter ends, I will be feeling all is lost.

SPRING

Cold rainy weather makes us feel pain called, the cruds,

The arthritis pain, we fight with the suds,

We want mosquitos to bite,

To take our minds off our plight

While spring blooms bust out of their buds.
