PARENTS, TEACHER AND THE GIRL NEXT DOOR

Teacher told me I was a lunatic, and sent me straight home from the middle school,

She called my parents and said I was a lunatic, with the tendencies of a fool,

My laidback parents, truly did not care,

They chewed tobacco, then spit in the air,

In the kitchen, I made a quick sandwich sup, and the girl next door, swam her pool.

Ann Teek, divorced her mean, cheating spouse,

Used her settlement, to buy a house,

She was close to the city,

Got dates; she was quite pretty

Couldn't keep a man; she squeaked like a mouse.

I thought if I went to college, I'd have money to burn

Instead, my debt was a nightmare, a lifelong concern,

Never thought of a house,

No money for family or spouse,

Then, when I died I was buried in a repurposed urn.

THERE WAS A GOLDFISH NAMED DREW

There was a nice goldfish named Drew,
But, instead of gold he was blue,
Blue made him feel sad,
