JIMMY AND HIS HARD TIMES

Jimmy sold his red blood to buy some toilet paper, that's how bad things are,

Jimmy lost his cheap apartment, and sleeps with snakes in an abandoned car,

Jimmy is disappointed,

He feels employer exploited,

Jimmy works eighty hours each week, to earn pennies for his savings jar.

I started my tomatoes, and pepper plants, inside,

I found a window, sunny spot, in my double wide,

It warmed up, at last,

The seeds grew, real fast,

Growing veggie fruits from seeds, gives this garden man, pride.

THE CHICKEN COUP RETIREMENT FUND

I have a chicken coup full of trash bags, full of cans,

It's my retirement, and I have really big plans,

Down at the town called Old Hollars,

I'll convert them to a fist full of dollars,

Then I'll buy me a new set of pans.
