THE GINGERBREAD AQUARIUM

Ron built an aquarium out of gingerbread,
It didn't hold water and his fish are all dead,
It may not be too soon,
To say Ron's mind's out of tune,
Ron thought the bread would keep his little fish fed.

ME AND LARRY, AND OUR LITTLE CRIB

My pet goldfish Larry, only has one big fin,

He swims real funny, when he surfaces for din,

His bowl sits on the floor,

Right behind the front door,

My crib is tiny, so my fish display is min.

MY GUPPY DIED FROM DEHYDRATION

I kept my small, green pet guppy, in a wide mouth mason jar,

Not much room to swim sideways, but he could swim up really far,

One day, my guppy jumped out,

He must have flipped, flopped about,

I found my guppy, a died up husk, on my toy Tonka car.

IF YOU CAN'T KEEP A GOLDFISH ALIVE

Mommy says I can't have a puppy, unless I can keep a goldfish alive,

So far that's not going well, no matter how hard I strive,

Most fish die by week two,

Some make it three, just a few,

I fear I may never have a puppy; I just turned 35.

Mommy says I can't start dating, unless I can keep a goldfish alive...

Guppies Too Many

There were too many guppies in the tank,

They all soon died, and it stank,

With a flush and a flow,

To the septic they go,

I'll buy more, once I go to the bank.
