THE POLITICS OF THE ELEPHANT

There was an elephant all large and fat,
The elephant knew where the peanuts were at,
It kissed the big rears,
Of the rich who inflict tears,
The elephant didn’t care as he ate where he sat.

There once was a banker named Mel,
He was known as the banker from hell,
He stole lots of money,
And thought it was funny,
He retired and lives very well.

The dingy donkey had its say,
It kicked and he-hawed until we gave it it’s way,
Now we have to starve,
So steak the donkey can carve,
And serve to elephants and donkeys that pay.

There was a congresswoman named Belle,
Her vote was always there to sell,
She would take any bid,
That's all that she did,
That's why the government works so well.

THERE WAS AN OLD BANKER NAMED GENE

There was an old banker named Gene,
Everyone knew he was mean,
He would charge huge fees,
Put you down on your knees,
His interest rates were obscene.

He did what he could,
