THE IDES OF MARCH: A TIME TO FEAR

The Ides Of March is a time to fear,
The warming weather skunks my beer,
The softening of the swampy land,
Prepares great traps of quickened sand,

I do not embrace the Ides as dear,
They come each month year after year,
And, on the Ides I am a sleeper,
Thus, I avoid dear Caesar's reaper.

WHAT TO DO ON THE IDES

What to to in March on the Ides?
Unlike Caesar, one runs and one hides,
But, some on this date,
Drink up and celebrate,
That is, if you're lucky at picking best sides.

THE IDES OF MARCH COME ONCE AGAIN

The Ides of March come once again,
My stored foods have gone bad, there's nothing for din,
My apples are soggy,
My canned foods are all foggy,
My taters sprout out of their bin.

THE IDES OF MARCH WITH A NEW MOON

It's the Ides of March with a new moon,
Don't be shived by Brutus the goon,
Caesar wasn't too bright,
His bud wasn't tight,
Caesars luck ran out really soon.

THE IDES OF MARCH COME ON THE MORROW LIMERICK

The Ides of March come on the morrow,
They bring to us such benign sorrow,
There is no direct threat,
Nor warnings just yet,
We just fear every day called tomorrow.
