A ROBIN NAMED POKE

There was a robin named Mr. Poke,
He could not find worms and was a joke,
Poor Pokey could not see,
The rattlesnake named Bea,
Bea washed down Mr. Poke with a Coke.

Two little monkeys raised and sold some cattle,
Then over the proceeds they started to battle,
One thought it was best,
That in cattle they reinvest,
The other wanted to raise snakes that would rattle.

I BUILT A CABIN IN A SWAMP

I built a cabin in a swamp,
So, I'd have a place to romp,
I love all the snakes and the bugs,
With them it's kisses and hugs,
But, on the lizards I like to stomp.

THE SERPENT UNDER THE ROCK

There was a poison filled serpent underneath a pretty granite rock,

I thought I'd find a stick and clobber him, and record it for Tik Tok,

Then the serpent slithered toward me,

Bit me just below my bad knee,

As I lay crying, dying, the nasty serpent danced around, to mock.

THE SNAKE IN THE POOL LIMERICK

A snake fell into my swimming pool,

I guess he wanted to feel real cool,

He chased us all away,

On a hot summer day,

Now "no snakes in the pool" is the rule.

JUNGLE BY THE BOOK

Wheezy the cunning barn cat, met Perky the perfect perch,

Wheezy pounced on and ate perky, then resumed her pond search,

Then, Wheezy met cobra,

He was some Casanova,

He gave Wheezy a hickey, then she slept under the birch.

MY PYTHON LIMERICK

My python has just slithered away,
Now, out in the Florida swamps she will play,
Warning:  my snake is a hater,
So, beware alligator,
You might be her dinner today.

SNAKE, LEAVE THAT TOAD ALONE

There was a small toad in my garden of clay,🐸🍄

He was chewing on bugs as he went on his way,🐞

Then, along came a vicious snake,🐍

That I chased away with my rake,👩‍🌾👉

The toad thanked me and bid me good day.🌄
