TO ALL THE MOMS ON MOM'S DAY

I wish all moms on mom's day,
Happy thoughts all the way,
And, after each evening storm,
To wake up warm,
Like sunshine on the bay.

GRANDMA SUE

There was a grandma named Sue,
She loved to dress-up in blue,
Her hair was bright red,
And, she was well fed,
Sue was kind to all that she knew.

Sue was a grandma who worked really hard,
She kept her house clean and fixed up her yard,
When the kids came around,
She'd get down on the ground,
She was fun and oh what a card.

I AM WHAT I AM BECAUSE OF MY MA AND PA

I am so lucky to have my ma and pa,

They raised me on coffee and tobacco chaw,

Although, my teeth were all black,

And, my chaw spit caught me flack,

I became the town marshal and law.

SORRY MA, IT'S SNOWING

Oh great polar vortex that comes in May,

That shuts down beach fun and ends spring play,

The cold has had a long run,

Why can't winter be done?

Instead, we're getting a wet, heavy snow Mother's Day.

MOTHER'S DAY LIMERICK

Mother's Day oh, Mother's Day,

More than flowers for mothers in May,

For all we conceive,

And, all we achieve,

We celebrate those who created the way.
