IT STORMED ALL DAY

It rained and stormed all day, 
The kids couldn't get out and play, 
They tore up the house,
 Drove off my spouse,
 Now all alone with the monsters I stay.

Pauline and Paula got swimmers itch,
Because they went swimming in a ditch,
They ignored the no swimming sign,
So now they both pine,
For a swimming hole without a big hitch.

MY AIR CONDITIONER

My air conditioner blew up with a boom, 
Now it’s hotter than Hades in my room, 
There’s no ice in the freezer, 
To cool off this geezer, 
I’m afraid this heat wave is my doom.

THE LIGHTNING STRIKE LIMERICK

Bye, bye heat wave with the new falling rain, 
But, the lightning strike has caused me so much pain, 
I know that I’m not dead,
Cause I feel pain in my head, I can’t afford a hospital bed, 
So, I’ll drink some homemade hooch instead.
