THE SAILBOAT GOAT

My friend, had a big, pretty yellow, sailboat,

It was pretty new, because it still could float,

We sailed one day,

Up to Saginaw Bay,

That's where my friend bought a boat mascot, a goat.

JIMMY TOOK A FERRY BOAT

Jimmy took a big ferry boat, out to see the amazing, Michigan, Sioux Locke's,

The Sioux Locke's were so very frightening to see, Jimmy sweat wet, his new, blue socks,

The Ferry was called, "The Abigail",

Powered with motors, not a wind sail,

The Abigail sank, losing passengers and crew, when it hit Canadian rocks.

BOATS, BEES AND SLEEP

I was on some wicked water skies,

When attacked by vicious honey bees,

The bees attacked my pale, naked knees,

The poison made my leg muscles freeze,

I got to the beach, and caught some Z's.

I'M THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME, FISHES

Tammy let everyone know that she was a G.O.A.T

The greatest of all time, at sailing a sailing boat,

Her jealous brother, Doug,

Pulled her big, sailboat plug,

Tammy sank down to Poseidon, and that's all she wrote.

MY BOAT WENT UNDER WATER

I once had a submarine, and I drove it through the sea,

Once on the other seaside, they threw a parade for me,

I rode on a big float,

For driving the u-boat,

When the nice parade was over, we ate stale cakes and tea.

MY LAGOON PONTOON

I decided to navigate some lagoons,

So, on my new sports car I rigged some pontoons,

The plan was going my way,

Until, I got to a bay,

I found that the bottom was formed like sand dunes.

MY BOAT MOTOR SINKS IN THE SEA

My little boat's motor went over the side,

It happened so fast that I just let it slide,

Of course it rains and it pours,

I forgot to bring oars,

And, the lake was real long and real wide.

I AM A SAVED SODA POONTOON

I was out in my aluminum boat,

I drank sodas that made my belly bloat,

Then up-chucked the sea,

Swamping my boat and me,

Soda gas kept my body afloat.

FLIP THE SHIP

My little, tiny, teeny ship,
Twelve feet of metal and the side had a rip,
I just left the dock,
A wave made my ship rock,
Then over, my ship made a flip. 

FLOTILLA PONTOONED

It's name was Flotilla, and that was my boat,

It was pontooned with pop bottles that held air, and could float,

Then way out on the bay,

It sank to the fish bones and clay,

That was the very last thing I wrote.

FISH FOOD, DINNER IS SERVED

I was having a yacht party,

But my boat, it sank at sea,

My guests got mad at me,

They got all wet, and gee,

The sharks came and we...

Cleaning One's Clock With A Dock Limerick

Barney traveled upriver in a fancy canoe,

He traveled real fast, because the canoe was brand new,

But he ran into a dock,

And that cleaned his clock,

The dock was damaged, and the owner did sue.

A SAILOR'S SECRET TO AVOIDING DRY SKIN

To my boat I always stay tethered,
For, I tend to fall overboard when I'm weathered,
Not from the winds and the gail,
But, from my keg of dark ale,
I drink ale so my complexion ain't leathered.

BEING DIFFERENT ON THE BOTTOM

My little pontoon boat has sprung a big leak,
So, in seaweed on the lake bottom a refuge I seek,
And, all the fish way down there,
Give me such a real nasty stare,
That, I feel like a fish they label a "freak."

THE WATER-SKI TRIP

My wife said our water-ski trip was the worst,
I then felt so bad that I thought I would burst,
I said it was sunny,
She said it’s not funny,
Taking her water-skiing on February first.
