JERK AND PERKS

I dreamed I was a employed, as a soda jerk,

Way back in the 1950's, when there was such work,

I'd be a one man team,

Who sold real cold ice cream,

What I sloped on the counter, I'd lick up, for my perk.

SPACE COWBOY

I dreamt I was a future, space cowboy, and my name was Ding Dong,

I flew across a prairie of stars, with my guitar and a song,

I had 12 live cows, too,

And, a pet kangaroo,

And, an AI named Bootsy, who nagged me, about all I done wrong.

SOCCER, ROCKER, GOODBYE

Harry never left his bedroom, green rocker,

He did not feel well, had a bad tick toker,

Once a big jock at sports,

So the paper reports,

He passed watching an intense game of soccer.

THE TIME TRAVEL PEASANT

My time machine will machine no more,

So, I can't the future or the past explore,

I am stuck in the present,

Like a time travel peasant,

Such a mundane existence, I deplore.
