MY SISTER HUNTS FOR OUR HOLIDAY FEAST

Christmas is coming, instead of goose, we are going to eat rat,

My sister has a BB gun, and she knows where the rats are at,

By day, they're under the floor,

They are sleeping; hear them snore?

At night the rats go where they want, since they frightened away the cat.

We were so very thankful on Thanksgiving, for the delivery of pizza pie,

Pizza is so much easier, than making traditional food; it made my mama cry,

I would really like to say,

It was the happiest day,

But, Uncle Bubba had a big, hissy fit, so we threw him outside and said goodbye.

SQUISHY RHUBARB PIE

My rhubarb pie came out real squishy,

Cousin Tim, wouldn't eat it, nor would cousin Trishy,

Uncle Bob ate it, and got really sick,

As did dad and mom and grandma Vick,

May they get well is my holiday wishy.

   

Who Will Be Dinner? The Turkey Or Me?

I went for the turkey and the vicious turkey, went for me,

One would be dinner the other, a tomorrow would not see,

We fought and we fought and we fought,

Till my throat, the turkey wings caught,

I hope he chokes on my wishbone then, we're together, me and he.

REVENGE OF THE GASSY GHOST

A terrible ghost is haunting my house,

It's the guy I had poisoned when he was my spouse,

So gassy is he,

Makes my eyes watery,

And, he's spoiling my Halloween dinner grouse.
